Shop for Apple Valley Knives® REMINGTON R8065 Candystripe double automatic knife Etched at knivesusa.shop. C’mon, Let’s Play
This is a Remington double switchblade made by the George Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT in the late 1930s, early 40s under contract by Remington. It was designated the model R8065 and still has the original Copper Beryllium spring. The knife measures 3 3/8 inches closed and 7 1/8 inches with both blades open and has brass liners and nickel silver buttons and safeties. The blades both have a little loss from sharpening, scratches, patina and pitting. Both blades are stamped Remington. The large blade is stamped R8065 on the back of the tang and still has most of the original “Remington Master Knife” etch visible on the front face of the blade! The knife works well with both blade tips seating below the liners closed, both open well and both have tight lockup open. No kickback on either blade. Safeties both work. EX- condition overall.
